Being able to be there for a friend and being able to tell that friend "it's okay. Everything will be fine." it's a total different thing. Best friends share secrets and gossips while soul friends talk about troubles and help to solve them. Having a friend and a best friend is nothing different. It's just that you judge and say, "oh, this person is better than the others. She knows me well." when the actual fact is that she knowing you well just by a few days is because both of you have something in common. That's my point. I have seen so many best friends and friends come and go but I had 2 soul friends who stayed by me when I needed someone to talk to. Even though they might be 16 hours away from me, but we would still talk. They were not the type that is afraid of waking me up in the middle of the night to talk to me or chat me up because they knew me well. Well enough to know which guy suited me best, which guy wasn't the one for me. That was why. I try to make friends every single time but not everyone is trying.
